Spout pouches have replaced rigid plastic bottles as mainstream flexible packaging for liquid & semi-viscous 

goods, thanks to lightweight structure, resealable spout and shelf-standing performance.

1. Suitable Product Range

Food Category

  • Beverage: fruit juice, sports drink, puree, jelly, liquid yogurt

  • Condiment: cooking oil, soy sauce, tomato sauce, honey, syrup, curry paste

  • Special food: baby puree, retort soup, wet pet food, liquid nutritional supplements

Daily Necessities & Household Chemicals

Personal care: shampoo, body lotion, hand sanitizer, facial essence, travel-sized cosmetics;

Home supplies: refill laundry detergent, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid, concentrated cleaner refills.


2. Critical Design Notes for Production

  1. Spout Position & Diameter

    Corner spout saves printing space while top-center spout fits high-speed filling; thin liquids use 8–10mm small spouts, thick paste & chunky sauce adopt ≥16mm large-caliber spouts for smooth outflow.

  2. Welding Reinforcement

    Reinforce the spout welding area to avoid liquid leakage under extrusion or drop impact;

    retort-grade pouches require PP spouts for high-temperature sterilization (121℃+).

  3. Film Structure Matching

    High shelf-life products add AL/VMPET/EVOH barrier layer; ordinary daily refill uses mono PE structure for cost & recyclability; nylon layer improves puncture resistance for oily contents.

  4. Bottom Structure

    Doypack bottom for regular 200ml–2L pouches; eight-side sealed design for large-capacity heavy-load packaging.

  5. Cap Function Option

    Select tamper-evident caps for food, child-resistant caps for household chemicals per regional safety regulations.
